Martina Galea Loffreda

SCHOLAR DESCRIPTION

Martina Galea Loffreda is a dedicated and passionate performing arts student, currently pursuing a BA Hons in Musical Theatre at ArtsEd in London, one of the UK's leading institutions for Musical Theatre. With over 13 years of experience in the performing arts, Martina has honed her craft across various prestigious platforms both in Malta and the UK.

Her recent performances include her pantomime debut as the principal girl in "?kku and the Chocolate Panto" at Teatru Manoel in December 2022. This performance followed notable roles in local productions such as "Sweeney Todd" at Teatru Manoel and "The Addams Family" at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta.

Martina has also showcased her talent in the UK, performing as Cinderella’s Stepmother in "Into The Woods" at The Southwark Playhouse, London, Fairy Soo in ''A Kiss for Cinderella'' in Dulwich as well as participating in the ensemble for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at Manchester Cathedral. She was also part of the choir for the "Children of Eden 30th Anniversary Concert" at Cadogan Hall and the "West End Musical Christmas Concert" at the Lyric Theatre in London.

Her extensive training includes time at Stagecoach Performing Arts, CentreStage Malta, Masquerade Malta, the National Youth Music Theatre UK, and Stagebox London. Now in her second year at ArtsEd, Martina is eager to continue learning and pushing herself to become the best possible version of herself as a musical theatre artist.
