Clara Abdilla Joslin is a nineteen-year-old Maltese singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist and actress. Currently based in the UK, Clara is about to enter her second year at Leeds Conservatoire in the BA Honors Actor Musician course. She completed her A-level certification in Theatre and Performance and English Language at G.F. Abela Junior College and avidly contributed to the theatre community - including being president of the student organisation "Teatru Kullegg" and directing an original musical for the annual soiree. These strides won her awards for outstanding contributions to the theatre department and her academic achievements, from the college. Clara started her musical journey at the age of five with the piano and currently holds a diploma in Classical Piano and Chamber music performance from the Malta School of Music. This past year she became proficient in both guitar and electric bass as part of her curriculum at Leeds Conservatoire. Clara obtained a grade 8 level Distinction in Trinity Musical Theatre exams and achieved a grade 6 level in Cecchetti Classical Ballet. She has also taken part in various local productions such as "Animal Farm" by the Masquerade Youth theatre company and Spazju Kreattiv's; "Songcraft 2023". She recently released her first passion project "Guide to Grief" on YouTube which is a seven-track original song cycle. As her passion for all artistic forms never falters, Clara wishes to make her younger self proud and never stop dreaming big.
