Georg Zammit, born in Qormi on October 10 of the year one thousand nine hundred and ninety two. From a young age he always showed a special interest when it comes to music. This name also came from the fact that his father used to play in many festivals with the althorn. Once, among others, a band player by the name of Karmenu Zammit decided to buy Georg a set of small plates, these were the ones who spurred Georg to start entering the musical world.
The more he began to brush up, the more he increased his love for the percussion section. It was here that he began to study percussion professionally with teacher John Farrugia.
He studied for nine years until he eventually got grade 8 in drum kit from Trinity college. At the age of eleven he also started to study theory with Master Ray Sciberras where with the same teacher he got up to Grade 5 from the London College of Music.
At the age of fifteen Georg began the classical voice studies under the direction of the teacher Dr. Andriana Yordanova. Here the tenor Zammit studied so that he eventually managed to obtain Grade (eight) 8 in voice. Nowadays, Georg obtained a diploma at level 5 of voice from school of music Malta.
Georg also works in music where he is part of the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta both as a singer and as a percussionist. His first debut was with the same band in a concert in aid of the providence house. In this debut, Georg sang a work by Maestro Ray Sciberras
