Maltese pianist Laetitia Amodio showed a great musical talent at a very young age. By the age of thirteen, she had achieved the 5 diplomas, including the DipABRSM and the LRSM in piano performance. Laetitia has studied as a specialist musician in Wells Cathedral School in the UK and is currently a student at the Royal College of Music in London.
As an active performer, Laetitia has participated in numerous competitions and has been awarded first prize in seven International Piano Competitions in Italy, Valletta, London, Ukraine, Germany and Austria. In addition, Laetitia was offered a two-week scholarship at the Kent State University in Ohio, USA, where she performed at Severance Hall in Cleveland.
More recently, she has performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the MYO and EUYO at the MCC in Malta and in the prestigious Cathedral in Wells (UK) after winning the Concerto Competition there. Laetitia is a familiar performer in Malta as she participated in various international festivals, masterclasses and concerts. In April 2016, she also had the honour to perform a solo recital at the President's Palace in Malta.
