Marvic Baldacchino is a Maltese soprano. She is a recent graduate of the Conservatorio di Milano “Giuseppe Verdi,” where she pursued advanced studies under the guidance of Silvana Manga and Luisa Giannini, earning a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Artistic Vocology, both with distinction. She previously trained with Miriam Cauchi at the Malta School of Music before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Malta School of Performing Arts.
Marvic has participated in masterclasses with notable singers and has performed widely in venues across Europe, including Brussels, Rome, Milan, and Athens. She made her operatic debut as Ines in Verdi’s Il Trovatore in Gozo and has since performed various roles including Rosina in Paisiello’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Elle in Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine. Additionally, she has appeared in various concerts and recitals and is involved in educational outreach through the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. The BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation supported Marvic during her pre-conservatoire music studies in Malta and the United Kingdom. Marvic is also grateful for the support of the Janatha Stubbs Foundation and the mentorship of soprano Miriam Cauchi.
