Yasmine Pullicino is a 14-year-old ballet and contemporary dancer. She started her training in ballet at the age of four. As she grew, her love for dance led her to explore new styles. At ten, Yasmine decided to add contemporary dance to her training, allowing her to blend ballet's structured techniques with the more free and expressive movements of contemporary dance.
To expand her skills, Yasmine attended masterclasses and intensive programs organised by renowned dance schools like the American Ballet Theatre, Russian Masters, Princess Grace Academy and The Royal Ballet School. These experiences helped her grow as a versatile dancer, capable of expressing a wide range of emotions and styles.
Yasmine achieved success in various dance competitions, among these were the Domenico Modugno Competition, Metti le Ali al Talento and the Global Dance Open, earning awards and scholarships for training with esteemed schools like Joffrey Ballet School, the New York Dance Project, Royal Academy of Dance, Yorkshire Ballet school, amongst others.
In addition to these, Yasmine has won the prestigious Tanya Bayona Senior Award. This led to an invitation to perform during Cecchetti Day held at The Royal Ballet School, a significant opportunity that allowed her to showcase her skills and artistry on a distinguished platform.
Yasmine currently trains at Seed Dance Studios, aiming to refine her skills and pursue a professional dance career.
