During my 13 years of dancing, ballet has always been my passion and what spoke to me the most. Throughout my journey, since the young age of 9 I’ve always tried my best to gain opportunities to further my training and knowledge in dance. Improving and refining my skills has always been of utmost importance for me. I’ve done this by participating in world renowned competitions abroad like the most recent Global Dance Open Finals where I placed 3rd globally in neoclassical and the RAD Bedells Bursary, where I won the choreographic award, (distinction in Advanced 2 RAD is mandatory to participate). I’ve attended ballet intensives overseas given by world class schools such as the (most recent) Dutch National Ballet Academy, English National Ballet School and Central School of Ballet to continue refining my technique. To improve my training on a national level, I have attended the Malta Visual and Performing Arts School for 5 years in secondary, participated in Brillanti Dance, where I won the most promising dancer. This scholastic year (2024/25), after several rigorous rounds of auditions that I attended (during the month before my MATSEC O levels, in which I obtained high marks) I was chosen for the Foundation Degree Course in Professional Dance and Performance at Central School of Ballet and so I will be moving to London to continue strengthening, gaining knowledge and honing my ballet technique.
