SCHOLAR DESCRIPTION

I began my dance journey with jazz & classical ballet at the age of five. Eventually, daily training became a part of my life, and the studio became my second home. While I kept my daily classical training, I today focus on Contemporary dance and enjoy experimenting different dance genres.

In 2019, thanks to the assistance of the BOVJCF, I became the youngest Maltese dancer to perform at the prestigious Crescent Theatre (Birmingham) and Saddler’s Wells Theatre (London).

Last June I completed my final Cecchetti examinations obtaining the Advanced Two diploma. At the time I also sat for my GCSE O Levels and I am proud to say that I have passed all academic subjects too which goes to prove that balancing both academics and dance successfully is demanding, but possible.

For the past 6 years, I have regularly participated in international competitions like YAGP, GDO & DWC as well as attended summer intensives across different countries in EU and USA. This has improved my stage performance, confidence, and exposure to training abroad.

In August 2024, I moved to Copenhagen to join the International Dance Academy to further strengthen my dance training and to follow my dreams to take dance and choreography at professional level.
