SCHOLAR DESCRIPTION

At the age of 6, I started attending Stagecoach School of Performing Arts. During my time at the school, I had the opportunity to perform at Videopolis Theatre at Disneyland Paris and at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. Whilst I enjoyed studying the 3 disciplines; Dancing, Singing and Drama, I soon discovered my passion for dance and at the age of 8, I started attending ballet classes at the Academy of Dance Arts in Mosta. In 2020, I took part in the Maltese Island Festival and I came 2nd place in the Classical Ballet Solo Category. Later that year, I took part in the music video, “X’inhu l-Milied G?alik” by the Travellers. Whilst my time at the Academy of Dance Arts, I joined the Company of Dance Arts. In summer 2023, I took part in the production ‘Carmen’ where I played the part of Escamillo. I had the privilege to be selected to attend several Summer Intensives, which include the Royal Ballet School (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024), Central School of Ballet (2022) and Elmhurst Ballet School (2022). Whilst at the Elmhurst Ballet School Summer Intensive, I was offered a place as a full-time student at the school by the Artistic Director, Mr. Robert Parker. After my first year at the school, I was awarded the ‘Live Award’. At the end of my second year, I was awarded the ‘Dance Award’ for Effort, Resilience and Progress.
