Amber Pace

SCHOLAR DESCRIPTION

Amber Pace, age 16, has been a scholar of the Joseph Calleja Foundation since 2019. She has recently completed vocational training at Elmhurst Ballet School UK, studying dance alongside academic subjects, successfully completing her secondary education and GCSEs. After thorough audition processes, Amber was offered 6 places at various UK and European dance schools, with various scholarships. She has chosen to pursue a 3-year fulltime Diploma in Professional Dance validated by Trinty College London at English National Ballet School (ENBs), London, starting in September 2024. Amber was introduced to ballet at the Brigitte Gauci Borda School of Dance, Malta where she took various graded exams in the Cecchetti ISTD Method. Once in England, she continued to follow the Royal Academy of Dance method where she took various advanced examinations. Amber has competed in international dance competition YAGP Paris, performing both classical and contemporary pieces. She was awarded several scholarships to international summer courses. She has completed several summer intensives in Paris, Rome, London, Prague and Amsterdam. Amber aims to pursue dance professionally and on an international level. Her sheer dedication, tireless determination and commitment is admirable. She looks forward to completing the next 3 years at ENBs, widening her academic and artistic skills through performance opportunities offered to students alongside the affiliated English National Ballet company.
