MARVIC MONREAL has been studying with me at the Royal Academy of Music since she commenced her MA course in September 2014.

She possesses a voice of much individual attractive character and colour. It has a full, resonant  and richly hewn timbre  that is wide ranging and, with the hard technical work during this past academic year, Marvic is now securing a reliable technique which in turn , is enabling her to tackle exciting vocal repertoire.

Marvic has already proved how well suited she is to the operatic stage, having been successful both vocally and dramatically in several operatic scenes at the Academy. She is to undertake a year on the Academy's Preparatory Opera course commencing this September.  This, together with continued technical work ,  should prepare her for a two year intensive operatic course for which she would be ideally suited.

Marvic has the necessary qualities, the musicality  and potential talent to undertake such a course and to eventually succeed in the profession.

She is a most responsive student bringing much enthusiasm and joy  for her singing  to her lessons ,  which are always a pleasure.
